I would be very upset if it was a target race - hope yours goes ahead Clare. I don't think they could make any other decision given the forecast, it's not the runners as much as the volunteers out there for hours on end. Unfortunately it won't be much good for Brighton/Manchester etc if it's not next weekend - too close to race day. |

Totally agree, I was prepared to run in the cold, wrap up and keep moving you stay warm(ish). Not the same for the support teams, many of whom are kids dishing out the chocolate and gels. So safety first for everyone is the best course of action. We'll have to see what the organising team and local authorities can come up with

Just signed up to 2019 and general entries open Monday 22nd Oct, I notice that there will only be transfers through the organisers this year which makes it fairer I guess with an official waiting list.

I wonder why they’ve changed the transfer system - bit of a shame I think. The proposed Nottingham one is the week before Ashby I think? |
