Anzac Day today. A few years ago I had a couple of good Aussie and Kiwi mates that were over on exchange tours. Dawn vigil has become something of a habit since then. That and my daughter was born at the back of 0600 a few years ago.

We will remember them.

Jono.
I do remember Kiwi's throwing our Quartermasters Desk over the side one morning, whilst alongside in Singapore - they were a bit worse for ware and funnily enough no one challenged them about it.

Almost unremarked. Unlike some idiot “celebrities”.

RIP. Always one of us.

Awfully sad, identified the best of us when confronted with the panic buying of toilet rolls.

Probably the only acknowledgement from the press that we have brothers and sisters in arms still deploying to the s**t holes of the world is that we're bringing a few hundred back to help the toilet roll hoggers with Coronavirus

RIP Lance Corporal Gillon

Just posted this on the WFH Thread:

3 days ago I redistributed the ironing pile to respective clothes owners and put away the iron and board (when I say put away, I mean away away!). For the first time in at least 35 years there will be no clothes ironed this week and none in the immediate foreseeable.

It's a bit weird for someone as institutionalised as I am, but I'm learning to cope!!

:)
