Anzac Day today. A few years ago I had a couple of good Aussie and Kiwi mates that were over on exchange tours. Dawn vigil has become something of a habit since then. That and my daughter was born at the back of 0600 a few years ago. We will remember them. |

I do remember Kiwi's throwing our Quartermasters Desk over the side one morning, whilst alongside in Singapore - they were a bit worse for ware and funnily enough no one challenged them about it.

Just posted this on the WFH Thread: 3 days ago I redistributed the ironing pile to respective clothes owners and put away the iron and board (when I say put away, I mean away away!). For the first time in at least 35 years there will be no clothes ironed this week and none in the immediate foreseeable. It's a bit weird for someone as institutionalised as I am, but I'm learning to cope!!
