Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

OK, so a rural, relatively traffic free, low-key, reasonably priced, scenic marathon, not too far from Central Belt with a quality goody bag, at the right time of year (June maybe?) could have a place? Do we need anything else?

How about the course? Does it need to be flat(ish). We're not too good at doing "flat" in Strathearn (Crieff/Comrie) so how about making it a tough one with plenty of hills? Would this attract or off-put?

Can you do 2!? A "scenic"i.e.hilly as F**k one for "fun" and a flatter than flat flat one so I can try to run one at a decent pace ;-)

Santababy, the good Doctor sometimes will listen to a bit of advice from his brother-in-law - especially with 5 pages of Fetchie-comments to back him up! btw he pointed you out to me on Saturday, but you were so covered in bandages I'm not sure I'd recognize you again! Hope the wounds are healing (and see you at his house for dinner in a couple of weeks!)

Sounds braw to me!! :-) I have wonderd a few times why marathons mostly seem to be spring and autumn, so a summer central belt mara would be just dandy in my book. (Just need to get fit enough to train regular now)
