Are there enough Scottish Marathons???

There's actually 1 - 1.5 mile straight and flat stretch along the front of the 2 reservoirs that will give us great flexibility to add distance, funnels, start/finish for lappers etc. Anyway, it's not exactly 8.5 anyway, prob 8.7 or 8.8, I've never really worried about it too much as I pootle around on a Sun run! Shoe-lace. No. Just no. No. NO! Specific thing about this one is, even tho it has a couple of climbs, they are very doable by anyone. We have taken out folk who have never done over 5 miles on tarmac before and they have done this 8.5 mile loop and loved it. But not everyone can do the Skyline route, and shouldn't try! That is an order of magnitude, 10x harder, imho. :-)G
