Q: "What's the criteria for 'dormancy' "

A: the state of having normal physical functions suspended or slowed down for a period of time; deep sleep.

I think um would have been looking Fetch's specific criteria - so the period of time and the amount by which activities might have slowed down and which ones.

Eg not logged in and nothing for 5 years? Vs logged trying but no other interaction for 1 Yr etc? :-) G

As I recall, Fetch contacts inactive users to give them a chance to declare themselves non-dormant.

I noticed this last night as well. I was hovering around 37th/38th for a fair while, and then all of a sudden I'd jumped 15 places!

Surely removing dormant accounts would not affect the rankings the original poster is talking about? That would mean active people have gone would it not?

There could be people who have registered at some point and linked their gadgets and their training has been uploading to Fetch without them having any active engagement with the site. Since there are no barriers to registering, I'm sure for every active user/subscriber there are lots who register and never visit again after they don't get the pasties in the advent calendar.

No, some people linked their garmin or other device when they signed up, so training is imported automatically, and then never visited the site again

About This Thread

Maintained by Evan
A week ago I was just inside the top 1000 distance run for 2022, now I'm well inside 900 after about 30 miles. Some of this ascent in the rankings occurred when I hadn't logged any training at all. I noted last week that I was right around 990th and had about 990 miles run. Now 990th only has around 937 miles and the nexus is around 958 miles/place. This shouldn't happen.

Does anyone know what's going on? Are Fetchies deleting their accounts? Is training being deleted or h...
