Yep, I just put up the non-HRM price as you have a HRM strap from the 305 which will work with 310 will it not ? At least, when I upgraded from the 610 to the 910 I kept my 610 strap and bought the non-HRM 910 and it all works fine. |

I was directed to handtec a year or so ago and when I saw the telephone number I went in person, they are only 3miles from my front door, so I can vouch that they are "real", based in an industrial unit on the outskirts of Peterborough Hope that helpsreassures? Should also add that I also had no problems with them either |

I *think* you can even use non-Garmin straps, eg Polar, with the Garmin watches, as they all use the same technology for transmitting the info. Not 100% on that one though

Anything that's ANT+ works. Every Garmin HRM uses that except the very first house-brick sized 301. Timex Run Trainer does too, and a few others. Polar doesn't, they have their own proprietary data format. (You can put a Garmin HR sensor on a Polar chest band, though, and some people find them more comfortable and reliable than the Garmin bands. Me, I find they work about equally well at transmitting data and cutting a hole in my chest)
