The_Saint
Ancient civilisations often had rites such as human sacrifice to please the Sun god or to ensure that crops didn't fail, the Sun being an obliging chap tended to always reward their devotion by rising the next day, crops were a bit more awkward but failures would be explained by the people not being devout enough. Nothing changes really in terms of humans and reasoning does it? |
