‘magnetic’ was a good keyword.

I was around for that coming in (that was Boomsday, I think) - the first wave of Mech decks was very near the start in Goblins vs Gnomes.

I got squished by a Mech deck including Zilliax, etc, in Wild earlier...

Boomsday yes. I’d forgotten about Zilliax. Perhaps I should play more wild.

While we’re on keywords, something came up on Duels yesterday with ‘inspire’. Was that before my time or did I blink and miss it? I rather suspect the latter. It feels like it should be a mage thing but something tells me it was more a Hunter thing. ‘Reborn’ seems (thankfully) to have been quietly shelved too.

Started The Witcher this week. It feels quite complicated.

Is this me and Doooogs' cue to bang on endlessly about Gwent?

The Witcher is great Grast, stick with it. The upgrade mechanics are fairly complex, but very satisfying also as you can create a Geralt well versed in many different skills.

As GregP has also touched upon, Gwent, a mini-game within the game is fantastic! Very addictive!

As far as upgrading Geralt goes, I found this to be a useful resource:

Oh, and it has some of the most EPIC battles I can recall in a video game, probably outside God of War!

This is the original Witcher, my current PC won't play Witcher 3 if the recommended specs given on Steam are correct.

I killed the ghouls in chapter 1 and just got completely whacked returning to Mikel. Also apparently should have picked herbalist somewhere early on, I don't think I was paying enough attention.

So prompted by this thread I’ve given Gwent another go, first time since last Autumn. I have *very* little idea what is going on or what I’m doing, apart from losing horribly.

JK *chameleon*
But what *is* Gwent? I know it's a very popular minigame in Witcher III, but what does it look like? Cards? Counters? Enquiring minds need to know!
