Picked up a cheap copy of Santorini at the weekend (RRP 29.99 - 9.99 at TX Maxx).

My missus was going spare at me yesterday with frustration when we played this. She just couldn't beat me. Quite a bit of swearing at me though.

Took a while to arrive, but on the back of a post on the previous page, I took a look at (and then brought) a copy of the Jaws game.

Hoping to get it played tonight. Will report back.

I have managed to cock up the rules playing the shark a few times before now, but I finally won a game munching through the boat (sadly, no occupants).

Fun little game - especially as the shark. You just sit there inwardly laughing as there forlornly try and work out where you are or want you are going to be doing.

We used to play Survive- Escape from Atlantis when the family was younger, a good old fashioned Waddingtons game from before Eurogames really existed in the UK, and I think that involved being eaten by sharks.

Although probably not quite so graphically as this game!

Mrs VJ took Qwirkle, Honeycombs and Kerfuffle in to school today to play with some year 4-6s. Apparently they loved them and wanted to carry on playing Kerfuffle and not go to their school Christmas dinner.
