It's 24C in Rome, way too hot to run. Better wait until next week, never mind! On a more serious note, I have never run a mara like Abingdon before, small and clearly aimed at the faster runner. I really liked it, it was so good just having folks around who knew what they were doing. Does anyone know of any similar events?
Weean Oct 2017 6:56pm, 26 Oct 2017 1,176 posts	0 Weean The only one I've done that compares is Shakespeare fetcheveryone.com/viewracedetails.php?id=1773461 although it's not aimed quite so squarely at the faster runner, there's a six-hour limit, and from what I can recall a similar sort of vibe.

I liked the low key atmosphere and the club runner feel but I am also looking forward to London where I don't have to run through an underpass and battle the wind alone for 10 miles.
