I can't use my entry due to injury but I'm afraid the transfer deadline has long passed jet fuel.

Seemed to be on target but strained a hamstring at Saturday's XC. Less than ideal, looks like this week will be even more restful than originally planned.

Just did my penultimate run - 10.45 miles with 8 at MP ... went OK. Just some 400m intervals on Wednesdays and then it's carbs and rest.

I'm worried about this one as I haven't put in the same mileage as previous marathons, although I am in pretty good shape and lighter too. We will find out somewhere between 20-26 miles!! :-)

Prerace haircut done - so all good to go now.

Was the hair cut to make you lighter so you can run quicker? :-p

It's a cooling strategy rather than an aerodynamic or weight tactic!

PB of 3.19 for me. I was dying towards the end but a nice chap overtook me as we entered the stadium and said "come on, we can get under 3:20". I felt like death, but he cajoled me and a sprint finish later did indeed get under 3:20, so thanks whoever you are!

How did everyone else get on?
