A runner suffered from cardiac arrest (luckily she is ok). Because she was running under somebody else's number, the wrong next of kin/ emergency contact was called. So some poor bugger was worried uncessarily, and there was a delay in getting hold of the real emergency contact, who in fact knew some vital information about the runner who was taken ill. Just wanted to put this out there, for people who aren't bothered about number swapping- there's a reason you're not supposed to do it

I know some people think I'm just being lame, but I thought this was a very good example of why it shouldn't be done
