They've converted the function room for pool, and are unwilling to offer the facilities despite my offer to fill their pub for the day. (Did some Fetchie upset them in 2006? Come on, fess up ) I need to travel over to Abingdon and check out some alternatives.

Marathon Lads Apr 2008 9:55pm, 17 Apr 2008 2,938 posts	Marathon Lads So, LOTTL just curious that's all- these laps as such or what ever, is it as flat or flatish as before ?? how many laps are there ? we alwys thought the event was well organised, so were only inquisitive !! i have no cons==cerns about anything, don't go thinking that we have done 3, 4 and 5 lap maratrhons and 3 x 107 lap track marathons - so none of it will bother us my questions are just curios that's all Mick
solitude_fairy Apr 2008 9:58pm, 17 Apr 2008 448 posts	solitude_fairy Depends on how big a venue you want, and how many people etc. I only live a few miles from there, and a lot of my friends live in Abingdon, so will also do a bit of rooting about and see what I can find for a venue for a meet. If you need some help that is.
