Forest Runner Apr 2008 11:13pm, 13 Apr 2008 3,105 posts	Forest Runner It's not the race - it's the training. I peaked at 72 miles in one week for FLM, but even when I run as little as 20 miles a week, I still get a lot of stick.

In the 8 years I've been running, she has never come around to accepting me having some time to train. As I'm now a gym instructor (for the last 3 years) I say I have to be fit, but I think my wife thinks that I don't need to be any fitter than I am already. I really want to break the 3:15 barrier for a marathon, but it seems like I might never do it.
