I can always photoshop a tan on if you want too...

You got me and I wasn't even running (in the background here... gallery.sussexsportphotography.com ) Thanks for the kind words - it was a long day - marshalling duties were over v. quick though as I was doing Mile 1 just outside my house! After that I was cheering on the friend who got me into running (who took a tumble at mile 2 and dropped out later when everything that wasn't bleeding started to swell - she was the lady in the Welsh vest btw so some of you saw her I expect - ironically we have trained along that very stretch a gazillion times without incident) and THEN (once her hubby had taken her home for a fuss and first aid) there were still a posse of vegans to support (and take flattering photos of in full flight if poss., of course) and amblers and fetchies and everyone.... I felt a bit guilty about nipping home (from the bench just past mile 9) for a break and abandoning the people bringing up the rear but I was desperate for a wee and the ipod had gone flat! I did Abi in '06 and well remember how it felt slogging along narrow uneven pavements with nowt but the sound of lawnmowers and farting sparrows to accompany me & the runner 200 yards ahead, and that was with an iPod. I am not fast and it was a bit grim..... did Berlin this year You were all very very brave to get through Milton Park TWICE, not fall over on the 'orrible uneven pavements, and as for that last bit round Tilsley Park well that was just mean. And still pretty much everyone could raise a little smile at the end - I remember a lot of you I think (from the photo links you've been posted). I hope you all look FABBBLUSS in the finish line photies!
