ow motherfeck my legs ache but if i will drive all thew way home with one boneless banquet feast break at keele services what do i expect pissed down all the way from manchester too and then blowing gales over Shap and out west back home was going along quiet wel until mile 16 and that was it felt knackered (have done all week really) legs were refusing to me more than half a mile to a mile at a time so it was a slow walk/run to the finish but even with this i still clocked my 3rd fastest marathon ever, all 3 done in the last 4 weekends too |

well done everyone! thanks muchly to fetchpoint for their support and was nice to meet some of you in the boundary house afterwards! i also had a nightmare drive home - damn m25 - and had to take a detour up the a10 (thank god for traffic reports) to avoid the m11 as well. why do i always think that traffic will be fine on sundays? |

Hi all. What a great weekend, meeting lovely fetchies, old friends and new. But no PB for me this time 4:08. Had a nightmare from 10 - 20 with 4 loo breaks! Never mind, it's all part of the fun. Great to speak to Raps afterwards and find out that he'd had a brill run with Fans. Also lovely to see Lums sprint over the line, arms aloft, after he'd had a bit of a mare in the final few miles. OB crossing the line, taking her new friend's hand, so that they crossed together. We were all crying as soon as we saw her enter the stadium. It definately puts my whinging about not getting a sub-4 into perspective. Well done to everyone who ran today and massive thanks to everyone on this thread to has posted their support and kept tabs on how we all done today. I do love Fetch and Fetchies. mm xx |
