I know that it ISN'T wimping out - but the minute I tell myself I can walk through the water stations, I'll extend that to being able to walk in other places.
And I don't want to do that. I know how my brain works - anyway, am not discussing this anymore. Too stressed. Over water bottles ffs.

to my mind

you would gain time with a better run overall , even if u have to just slow right down or stop , walk and drink,

rather than be de- hydrated later on - when it's then just TOO late

but there's always problems in these areas

not being able to get going again, or if on a bad day, all goes wrong - funny old sport and distance the marathon

And, if after 6 or 10 miles sub 4 is on - fine, - if it ain't - tough - i won't be busting a gut over it, i may just deploy my plod all the way and get there when i do tactics

Well i'm using my camelbak so nerrrrr :-P had a bad experience with dehydration on my last LSR (of 16 miles) and I don't want to repeat that (it will interfere with my post marathon high!!) so camelbak for a security blanket! It's so comfy I really dont even notice it on my back and I do actually feel weird holding *nothing* when I run. It's just what i'm used to :-)
