Hi folks,

Sorry to see some of you are struggling with injuries :(

If any of you are selling your number then please let us know. There's no problem with this just as long as we know who the new runner is. It helps prevent any messups in the results, and heaven forbid someone is taken ill at the event it allows us to contact the right people / establish your medical history.

Please fmail me if you are changing numbers.

Thanks :)

Damn you PH....Why did I have to go and read that? I only took them to run the other day. I shall probably take them again when I need to though.

Homer - Cheers for the email, I shall get started on those excercises to eliminate the need for drug dependancy.

I'm hoping to be sorted by next week, but this injury is seriously blowing my training plan to pieces right now :-(

I will of course let you know if I'm not running... although I'd rather hop round than drop out!!

hello!

hope injuries are healing!

half way through week 2. week 1 was a bit pants as i wasn't feeling 100% but only missed one run, so not too bothered. did a 5k race instead of my speedwork last night and did sub 25 for the first time ever :-) and by a whole 3 seconds!!!

now i need to run again this afternoon - hmmmmm....

Homer, Velociraptor once told me (after the 2006 Abingdon marathon I believe!), that it takes only 8 weeks to prepare physiologically for a marathon. I realise this doesn't answer your question, but it might make you feel better. :-)
