runner duck Jun 2008 4:25pm, 4 Jun 2008 76 posts	runner duck didn't mean to imply that it wasn't down to abingdon's superior reputation - that's why i booked it too! interesting to know race numbers are up across the country. cos i'm new to running i happily book way in advance but a friend from club who has been running for years prefers deciding the day before (even for marathons) which used to be fine but now she keeps missing out. i had been trying to pin her down for this one but she's too late now!

MarkC Jun 2008 4:38pm, 4 Jun 2008 1,240 posts	MarkC I think the other reason it has filled up (in addition to the 3 main ones listed previously by LOTL) are that people who didn't get to do it last year - because of the cancellation - are keen to do it again. Me, I can't wait.
