It's good, not exactly an everyday thing but I've not broken it yet :-) At the price it was sold at it was a steal for coffee gadgetry.

Works best if the water is pre heated then it bubbles up to the top section quickly, and I was pleasantly surprised how well it filtered the grinds out. I doubt it would win any coffee world championship but it's a nice extra.

Getting excited for the Niche though. Birthday is towards the end of the month so I've got a few weeks before I can use it.

Good, larkim :-) Inspired by the thought, I've taken the Cona out and am drinking a freshly-brewed cup.

I tried cold brew a couple of weeks ago. Was nice but messy with so much coffee to strain for so little liquid.

I haven't done cold brew for a few years. May do soon when I've got time. Work's busy.

In Lidl's current Latin American week, 500g bags of Peruvian or Brasilian beans for £3.99. I bought the Peruvian, though haven't tried them yet.

Non-tea drinker here and nowhere to talk about the caffeine bean, so I thought I'd start a thread. ...
