Helegant. I don't think anyone on this thread would think you're not made of the sternest stuff around! Welcome back, and bunting for your daughter. I can't imagine running a marathon on my own!

I had a lovely time with the horses this morning.

ITG - you did make me laugh - I’m a long way from resembling anyone in a Jilly Cooper! ;)
I did find my jodhpurs and was able to wear a pair that I haven’t managed to squeeze into for years! Very satisfying!

Glad you had a good run, LD xx
Great to see you here, Helegant :)

I should be dressed in white and running along the beach in St.Andrews today :-) out of all races that haven’t happened this year that is the the I’m gutted about as we had planned a weekend away to be parkrun tourists - oh and the drought the finish are always worth running for. Never mind it will just make next year all the more enjoyable

um
Welcome back Helegant !

Another run 'in the woods' in the NF, no river today. Some deer, but a long way off in the trees. So ponies & trees instead.

Bit hillier today, and also shorter. Discovered that I can't look at a map, look for deer and stay vertical while running over rutted hard ground. Managed to stumble 3 or 4 steps before falling. In need of the 700 thread bubble wrap & zorb ball. Fortunately just knee, calf and elbow leaking blood. Did not damage my good looks.

Ah Columba, you're always so wise. It is indeed just a number. *whispers* but a very tempting number. Another 8 in the bag...
*waves* at Helegant, hope you're recuperating x

Afternoon did a half marathon after shift it is bloody Hot 🥵. 243 miles this month 7 short for the 250 badge :-( I did however get the gridmaster badge for those of you who play WSW. For those that do not play it is a badge for visiting all 225 squares in a week :-)

A quick shower before pinktinkbmc collects Sunday lunch :-)

Well done CAZ, great running. I didn't know there was a 250 badge. I doubt if I'll ever achieve that, though I did rack up 219 miles for May.

I hope your okay UM & that your wounds heal quickly. Tea & cake would definitely help, whilst you've got your feet up.
