Took OH's advice and slept in. Bit annoyed when finally got conscious as could have done parkrun if ten mins earlier. Never mind.

Got out for a swift 3 miler just now. Would have been longer but OH is due a long bike ride today and needed to get out. A far cry from the days when we would be in bed nursing our hangovers...

Good luck all the racers. Looking forward to hearing all about it.

Paula, sounds like a great parkrun. I need to work out which races I can do.

RRRRRRRRR-caz, nice result. I've got a match in a month's time. It's 10 years since my old team won divison 2 unbeaten, so we're having a reunion. A match at mid-day, then off to the pub who used to sponsor us and then to Casanova's restaurant for some food in the evening. They were our sponsors for a couple of years - we looked classy with Casanova's on the front of our shirts. :-)

Linds, well done for getting out there and doing a few miles.

10K went perfectly to plan - mile splits were 7:56, 8:01, 8:00, 8:04, 8:01, 7:44 and then 7:19 pace for the last bit. It was a little long as no chip timing, but finished in around 49:52.

Got my t-shirt. :-)

That's a nifty little 10K there, Som.

On a quick lunch break. That lovely FML came to visit my bookshop this morning :-)

Nice splits som.

Had a fun run at parkrun this morning. Almost felt like being in a race! Managed to sneak off and grab first finisher.

Some cheeky bugger took a short cut and tried to blag second place. The front!

Hopefully he took a wrong turn, but it's not hard to follow the person in front... Fortunately I know the race director and we managed to get the result corrected, fella was happily get his token scanned. Cheeky sod.

Good running Som :-)

I got out for a nice leisurely run this morning that was pretty quiet until I got to town and had to battle through the crowds waiting outside the local fossil shop to meet Nigel Marvin at the grand opening....... Who said little towns don't attract big stars :-)

Well done NN bunting and Som. And Ahote for crowd skills.

So if I want to visit Bint, which I may, as I live in that London, then do I go to the Foyles info desk and announce:

"I have come to see Ms Bint McSkint, if you please"?

*is deafened by sound of mind boggling* :)
