cheers yall thanks for the welcome, I am indeed in NZ, on the east coast of the South Island in a place called ...... Timaru. I am a English person in the colonies but for some reason I decided to try and keep intouch with the 'motherland' and all that is going on in the running scene.

Black jelly babies are great but cannot get them here, unless you go to the english shop in Christchurch. you can get IrnBru there :-)

There is nothing nicer* than some kind soul giving out jelly babies towards the end of a long race. I can only eat them when running though, they are *way* too sweet otherwise!

(* unless it's the piece of chopped up Mars Bar I got at 25.5 miles at FLM - utter bliss :-))

All you have to do is run about 1.92 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
