that's interesting about the pace on the run/walk training run Columba, i've read some of his stuff before and he is adamant that for lots of people it is quicker but it just seems counterintuitive ..

I'm going to adopt the run/walk strategy at London I think, Columba. I've been pondering whether to tag along with the run/walk pacers and your experience today has more or less convinced me to do it. I've heard a few people say that it's no slower than their usual *run until hurting/tired then walk a bit and struggle to the end* method.

I know a Fetchie who's done a few marathons run-walk with great success. You just have to be strong mentally at the beginning when people look at you for walking really early!

Fab result NN, well done.

Columba, if you add quickly from the top you can then amend the entry by clicking the notebook icon next to the run on the training log.

FML upgrade 2.014
If PP is around. Can you set up a thread where we can log all the great 700 results. So that at the year end award ceremony, can remember who did what?

Evening all. Back from parents' 50th Wedding anniversary. Fantastic meal and then bit of a late one sitting up with my sister setting the world to rights till the wee small hours. Whisky may have been drunk. Not too clever this morning.

Fantastic running this weekend, especially obviously SuperBint and SpeedyNonk.

Need to get some proper running in this week. Off for an early night. Hope your legs still work Bint.
