Busy weekend for you all over 250 posts to catch up on

Super well done to Ultrabint

Excellent time NN how is head slurrrring yet ?

Carp careful with the injury i deferred last year due to calf injury
Good stuff mc and all other runners
All at work were telling me about some marathon cancelled my first thoughts were Boston or Paris as I had taken a colleague to hospital who required 6 stitches after cutting hand at 06.30 this morning. Then saw it was Sheffield bit of a sham and so sad for those who have trained so hard.

Sheffield - lack of drinking water - hard to believe. Maybe Health and Safety wouldn't permit tap water?

Congratulations and bunting (just knitted it) to NN.

Congratulations also to MacApple for PB, and to Karl for 10k in 57.8.

And "hwre" for LD, remaining upbeat despite what she says was a PW - but clearly on a very difficult course.

Many hopes for rapid healing to Star and Carp.

Still dizzy with awe in front of Bint. Not surprised you've been eating all day, - however many calories does 50 miles burn?

My training log says 3672 but no idea how it works it out.
I did, of course, eat during the run though it got hard to force food down after about 30 miles.

Did a 10-mile LSR today, hilly, rained non-stop. Following Jeff Galloway's advice, did 3 mins run, 1 min walk, throughout. And surprise, surprise - it was no slower, and indeed slightly quicker, than a very similar run which I did 2 weeks ago without walk breaks.

But when I came to log it (manually) on Fetch, I couldn't find lots of the things that used to be there - no option for recording kit, weather, notes etc. Can anyone advise? - Or do you all download directly from your Garmins?

did you hit the add training at the top Columba? Cos that's the equivalent of the add training quickly box which used to be on the right. Use the training tab instead and it's all there.

I just checked the add training manually on mine, Columba, and the things you mention are there. That is rather bizarre!
Maybe you need to drop Lord Fetch an fmail.

bunting for Macapple and nice running Karl!

Columba, you really are knocking out the miles this year! That sounds like a lovely run. I bet it wasn't *quite* as muddy as mine though :-)

No mud. Lots of rain, and one or two large puddles that had to be run through, but it was all on road.

I'm trying to do a long run of 10 miles or more every fortnight, so that by the time I approach the Bristol half in September it doesn't over-awe me and I can just say "Oh, pooh, what's 13 miles?"

Thank you Fleecy! - All sorted, all correctly recorded, previous record binned otherwise would look as though I'd run 20 miles today...
