Blimey PP is there anywhere you haven't conquercised yet?! It's going to go brilliantly Bint, and you'll love it. Try not to have too much booze with that naughty Ultra crowd tonight though I'll be following along on everyone's Twitterer updates tomorrow!

The race has live timing spots (some of the checkpoints) and it looks like the website updates so, if you are bored witless waiting for the Grand National, you can track me. My number is 338. centurionrunning.com |

I'll keep that update thing in the background and follow your progress while I do my best to avoid anything horse related I've found a few other people I know of, and someone from another forum that I can also keep my eye on. It's probably not a good sign that I'm jealous of all these people running very long ways...... It might be the start of a slippery slope

Ahote - this is the schedule calculator thingy I mentioned. It only does 50 miles or 50k but is easily adaptable to other distances. I used it for Downs Link last year which was 38 miles. I use it in combination with the training programmes in Relentless Forward Progress (great Ultra book) as they are almost identical (but there's an option in the book to do bigger monthly mileage and I tried that for SDW) I keep the back to back runs as they are in the schedule and the weekly mileage but I jazz it up with some tempo runs and interval sessions from Furman. All other runs are nice and easy. |

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2014 thread. Here is the groups link: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/groups-view.php?id=1147
All you have to do is run about 1.92 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
