I can do the Coniston one in October, but not Helvellyn or Ullswater in November. We come home from our summer holiday that weekend - we're having a late one this year

Lakeland area would be perfect with our without a race. I had looked at staying in youth hostels with a couple of pals during the summer, and one of the lakes is a stone's throw away with an 11(??) Mile loop

I like the idea of the Lakes - think the scenery would help mitigate the mud - if there was no race we might look a bit daft dressed up though....

We're going to the lakes this weekend. I might give it a try. (knowing full well that I haven't the bottle to do such a thing and I have a professional reputation to consider)

All you have to do is run about 1.92 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
