My XH used to rally, Colin McCrae type stuff. They use forest stages or closed roads for the competitive bit and certainly wouldn't have given way for runners. The cars all have roll cages and they have to wear helmets on stages. But between the stages there is a non-competitive road section, it could have been there that you saw them. Lots of rallying in Wales!

As you can imagine, it was a VERY expensive hobby. Cars, engines, gearboxes, tyres, trailers, accommodation....

Someone on the pregnancy thread has recently had a little Ruairidh DQ, definitely well deserved medals and I have learnt something about Scotland today. |

thats why when I named my boy, I chose the easier spelling of that name as I didnt want to land him with a lifetime of having to spell his name!

I'm not totally sure I spelled that right anyway. I wanted to call our firstborn Angharad but OH put his foot down

My surname has only 4 letters but I automatically spell it out otherwise I end up with various mis-spelt versions of it - in fact my whole name only consists of 8 letters!

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2014 thread. Here is the groups link: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/groups-view.php?id=1147
All you have to do is run about 1.92 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
