I am aware of Takeshi's Castle and have laughed hysterically at it on occasion.

I have wine.
Slight moment of panic when I was unable to open the screw top but I was Determined Bint :-)

on the train home the other day I couldn't open my bottle of ginger beer, I really tried, even broke a nail trying to break the plastic seal. So I asked a guy in the carriage to open it for me and he did it really easily, I think he thiught it was a chat up ruse or something!

Haha! Mr fleecy has been known to use a knife to open a bottle of wine when a corkscrew was unavailable. Like the time in the Canaries when we spent our last euros on a nice bottle of red, only to find there was no corkscrew in the kitchen. He strained the bits out with a sieve :)

I decided that opening a whole bottle of wine just for me was unnecessary so I had a look in the drinks cupboard to see what was in there. Didn't fancy vodka, rum, calvados, port, Pimms or cognac so amontillado sherry it was (is) :-)

.B. I reckon you have added to his fantasy of his own hotness.
I bet he is on a thread somewhere telling his internet buddies how some purple-haired bird was coming on to him on the train :-)
