My commute is only 3.7 miles, so will fit perfectly with training days that say run 30 or 40 minutes, which happens on Monday and Fridays. Not saying I will run all of them mind you!! I do need to get a badge that says 'my hair looks like sh*t cause I ran to work, what's your excuse'!

Keyhole surgery to repair the 'meniscus' (cartilage inside the knee basically). I'm running ok at the mo but it won't be right until it's done. Hopefully that will put pay to all these fooking injuries :)

Oooh GlassFish, I like that! Btw TD any chance of seeing you at parkrun this weekend? I'm RD and we're on the wet weather route ie 4 laps on the path round the lake, would be lovely to see you!

WR, a torn meniscus is my problem (I am almost certain, no MRI as yet) but my niece tells me because of my great age ;-) the meniscus is probably already a bit tatty and weak so a repair would probably be unsuccessful. How bad was your tear? You had an awfully long time on the injury bench last year, didn't you :-(

All you have to do is run about 1.92 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
