Morning :-)

Thanks for all the points yesterday PBers. Good to meet you Phil & CStar. My plan was 9:09 pace and I averaged 9:07 so happy with that.

One benefit of not running flat out - I feel OK today. Off to Paris for a few days, hope to run down the Champs-Élysées at some point and round the Arc de Triomphe (without getting run over)

Be good everyone

PP. Take a gas mask. The pollution in Paris is at record levels. Still a beautiful city though.

Morning :-)

Carp - Rosehip speaks much sense. Time to rest now, I reckon.

Sounds lovely PP (not the pollution bit, obvs)

Might not run today. Might curl up on the sofa with a blanket instead.

Next weekend I've entered a local HM. The aim will be to do a 2-mile warm up and another 2 mile cool down to make 17 but I shall take your advice and see how I feel. The odd few miles this week but nothing mad and hopefully I'll feel a bit more energetic!

Morning, everyone. Hope you're feeling better soon, Carp - that blanket sounds like a good idea.

I've just remembered that I've got a HM in 8 weeks and I haven't started training properly for it yet. Ooops. Better run tonight then. :)

So tired and it's only Monday morning. Oh well, that's what coffee is for... Have a good day, boococks.

PS If four is TOO MANY, 7 or 9 doesn't even bear thinking about - eeek.

Morning everyone :-)

buntingBintbuntingfleecybuntingPhilthetbunting - well done to you all for your fantastic PBs :-)

I have started the process of getting an appointment for my knee. It's a bit complicated! I was sent a letter which told me to ring a number. I had to give them a password and now someone will ring me within 5 days to discuss when and where I can be seen. It's a bit John Le Carre....
