Good run vibes to Star :)

In two minds about running today. I'm not particularly enjoying it at the moment and I need to do 15 at the weekend, probably tomorrow. I might try to incorporate parkrun to break up the monotony a bit.

incorporatiing parkrun - as long as you don't race it - sounds like a good idea Carp, how about some off road advernturing now the mud is drying up?

Thank you, Nemo!
(I don't even know what SQL stands for).

Carp - sounds like a good idea. To take a break today, and run Parkrun +10 tomorrow, I mean.

Star - I'm another one who's never run 18 miles in my life. Short prayer duly said for you, - and I hope you enjoyed the run and had the weather you wanted for it.

Just Fleecing-well Do It
I have Combatted. Really enjoyed it :) Thrn I nipped onto the treadmill to bang out my last intervals without bothering with a long warmup (as I was warm from Combat). My calves are a bit sore now, they're not used to the treadmill. Still, I can now say I have ticked off every run on my plan, the vast majority at the right pace :)
Molesy is doing Fleet, he has a cold so is taking it easy.

No way CStar - that course is a hilly bastard. Run there would be about 3 miles, plus parkrun, then I need to look for a 9-mile route home.

Rosehip, that sounds like a horrid journey.

Just back from my 5 mile run. It was ACE. So it ended up being 6.81. Sorry.... hope don't pay for it later. Feel great now, though. Most of it was along the canal and the sun was bright but not too hot. Perfect.

Happy Linds :)

Well done Fleecy!

Off to peg washing and shower.

Hope you had a good run Star.

Carp - definitely break the run up with parkrun if you can, I do that whenever I can and it really helps.

I've had a bit of a 'meh' time with running lately, especially with the abandoned 20 the other week. But today made up for it.

I'll blog properly in a minute, but it was 20 miles of happiness.

20 miles of happiness... That's what running is for.

I've just done a quarter of that distance, but it has still made me happy. I was a bit overdressed; the day started with a sharp frost, and although it was sunny I couldn't believe it was going to be warm. Half way along, took off gloves, took off jacket, wished I'd worn shorts.
