XH has finally picked up the girls. Rather later than expected-I knew he was going to Birmingham today and when I asked him when he'd be back he merely said 'in time to pick them up'. He came in to collect some stuff but didn't even say hello to me or even put his head round the sitting room door. He's always going on to me about how rude I am. Bloody double standards!

Just don't rise to it Meglet. Maintain a dignified silence while consciously thinking "Up yours matey"

Evening all.

sounds like your having a bit of a naff time at the moment megs

we ditched intervals for a steady 6miles. Ran up the Clifford Tower steps twice too. Was fun. But sounds like politics and infighting is troubling our run group at the moment :-(

Meglet - let it roll off like water off a duck's back. If you can. Easier said than done, I know.

Fleecy, I was interested in your use of the word 'flipping'. I can't remember hearing that used for many, many years. I associate it with people of my generation and older, whereas you are so young and a product of a modern or post-modern society - i.e. my kids' age.

je RRR :)

I use flippin' - about the strongest I'm aloud at school - although Balerdash! and fiddlesticks at eat make the kids laugh

[I may swear in Hungarian occasionally too - I no longer use my faourite Cantonese curse as one of the year 6s overheard and told me off- oops]
