Left big toe nail got a bruise under it, must have kicked a rock or something, back in September after the Yorkshireman, taken that long to go a new one underneath I guess

NSC, I'm inclined to agree with Fleecy. [What AM I saying?] Sometimes though, it can be that you haven't done the laces up firmly enough or the shoes are too big, so your foot keeps slipping back and forth.

I did a 4.51 ml. steady run this morning, with strides 8x20-25 secs. It was not the session I had originally planned, but 'cos I was short on time this sufficed; felt fine though.

Hello everyone!

I've been neglecting the thread while I was sorting out my appraisal at work, sorry about that. Did I miss anything important?

It was weird getting home today as it was still daylight. Spring is on its way :-)

5.5 miles today. Aware of foot niggling but was hopeful it wasn't getting worse. Now I'm limping :( Pretty sure it's PF :( Seriously thinking I'll have to DNS the Wymondham 20. Don't know what to do!

Damn. Damn. Damn.

Still at work - sort of - waiting for a lift home after concert duty. All a bit emotional in places tonight. LN I can't think what you've missed tbh - rather a lot of running - I know :-o

New Shoes. I tried them out tonight and so far, so good :-) Though I had a bit of a senior moment with them. I wanted to do an interval session around my usual 5k loop so before I went I worked out how many 200m reps i could do with 1mile w/u and 1 mile c/d. Set watch accordingly, put on new shoes and out i went. Half way into w/u, I started wondering why my watch had no pace on it....doh........my footpod is on my old shoes at home! Quick change of watch to 10 mins w/u, 10 x 1min interval with 30sec rest and the rest of the 5k loop as c/d. What a ninny!!!
