It is gorgeous running weather here too :)

Unfortunately husband now has my lurgy and was snoring and gurgling all night - so when my alarm went off to go for a run I chose an hour's sleep instead.

Have a fab run Bint :)

Perfect running weather here too. However, I have a minor ( at least, I hope it's minor) injury - the side of my calf above my ankle hurts and is very tender so thinking of a rest day instead. Poo.

Bint, have a fab run :)

Rosehip, if you want to enter Wymondham, do it now - it sold out yesterday but we persuaded them to reopen the online entry, not sure how long that'll last.

Re watchers and lurkers and posters - I think you can be an official Watcher without ever posting. I did that for a long time on the Core Exercises thread, though I have posted on it recently.

Meglet - 15 is a good age for a cat, - but hope he / she can go on for a few years more, if only so as not to distress Mini. In the early 1980s we lived next door to some people who had an 18-year-old cat. The cat had only three and a half legs, due to an accident in kittenhood from which the vet had said she (cat) would probably not recover. Ha ha. She used to hop round the garden very happily. She was frightened of our rabbit, though, which used to chase her out of our garden if he (rabbit) was loose.

Morning all. Lots of chat as usual. Hope Bint has a good run. Beautiful day for it.

Busy here. Work is mad and frustrating. We had some friends of Mrs Star round for supper last night, so too much wine on a school night and now DS2 has been sick at school and I've had to come back to pick him up and bring him home. He's currently fast asleep which is a good thing at least.

Sorry to hear about the cat Meglet.

Hope I can get out for run later when Mrs Star gets home, but it's not looking good. too much to do Aaaargh! :-(

I was 5 in 1972. Well, after the end of October, anyway.

Poor Meglet's cat :-( And poor mini Meglet :-( I hope there is a solution.

Not running today, but I was very jealous of the runners I saw when I took Son2 to school. Beautiful morning for a jog/meander/sprint. Lots of cleaning to do tonight. And painting, of course.

Hope Bint is having a lovely run :-)

we didnt have lovely weather here first thing, it was torrential rain most of the morning. the sun has come out a bit now though, not that it matters mind, since I am at work.

I feel that I havent run in daylight for ages, all my long runs recently have been at night and when I was driving to run club last night I just felt in despair at it being dark again. Also, because we dont do headtorch runs at our group, we are restricted with running round and between housing estates - and it is getting so boring!!!!!!

Garmin was dead as a dead thing this morning. Set it charging before I left for work. Might actually go for a run latter.

And - after something like 12+ years of not seeing her - my ex-wife sent me a card this week with some old photos of our cat that she thought that I might like now that she had to have her put to sleep.

I think she was getting on for nearly 18! Almost an adult.
