Well done all the racers.

Hankies and paracetomol to all the sickies. And hugs.

Philtet, sorry to hear about your nana. What an achievement.

bunting for .B.

I had a lovely parkrun on our winter course, which I prefer as it doesn't have the evil muddy uphill finish. Despite trying to take it easy I did it only 10 secs slower than before I went off with the hip.Oops.

Swim tomorrow and short run Tues.

16.5 miles done

3.4 before, then the HM

Glad I wasn't racing it as the wind was horrendous, and headwind over the toughest part.

Slower than I hoped but not worried about time, it was getting the distance in. I believe if I was just a training run, think I would have abandoned half way round, but with it being a race it kept me going.

I have possession of Mum's iPad :) ten hilly miles done today - will have to wait till we get home to upload. It was very pretty but my legs feel a bit mashed!

Noticed Bint, forgot my 0.5 miles in earlier post.

That was important, because it brings me 90 for month, so need to get 10 more in the next few days for the magic 100 and in the shortest month!

1h59'45" HalfM for me today. 3mins slower than I would have liked but as it's my first (and the headwind was relentless) I'm pretty happy with that.

Well done! to everyone else :)

Well done all the racers bunting

If running in unpleasant conditions is character-building my character is now bursting out of its clothes. 7.5 miles, intermittently rainy, constantly very windy, - a following wind on the way out, and a right-in-your-face wind on the way back.

Just had a text message from Youngest Son, - do I want his place in the Bath half-mara? I don't, because it's too soon; I need months to train for a half mara. If anyone else wants it, perhaps you'd like to Fmail me (though I can't promise he'll still have it).
