Doogs, hope the news is good when it comes.

bunting for B :-)

Does Aero like the tablets, FML? Cats can be a bit difficult about things like that, can't they?

Barcode scanner died on me (not properly charged up I think) but most of the 250+ runners had had their tokens scanned by then so it was ok. Otherwise a perfect morning for parkrun or any other sort of run. I cycled to parkrun, so got my bit of exercise-and-sunshine fix that way :-)

It's a really lovely day. I missed parkrun in the end so have been out for a 5k run on my own. It's still quite breezy bu it's loely to see the sun and the temperature isperfect for running. Short sleeved tshirt weather :-)

Park ran. DS2 made it round slowly without too much whingeing. Sunshine was enjoyed. We weren't last, quite!

Car playing up :-(, but hopefully can sort it tomorrow with a couple of hours work.

bunting for .B.'s parkrun PB.

Commiserations to Carpathius for "everything breaking down", and to C*Star* for car playing up.

Soothing ((hugs)) to Jacs and family re medical emergency. Youngest Son had to be hurried to hospital twice during his childhood for an allergic reaction (once to a wasp sting, once to we never found out what). Very scary, but quickly dealt with once arrived at hospital.

Doooogs - hope Grandma will soon be recovered. I understand hips are more easily repaired than knees, but if she has osteoporosis that may be a complicating factor.

Did an interval session yesterday, so today will be a NRD.

Excellent running .B. :-) 39 seconds is a nice big chunk of time.

Brockwell parkrun for me and Ed today, as usual. I tried not to go too hard as there were more miles to do afterwards but I felt at the end as though I'd worked fairly hard. 26:44 I think, not bad, but the best bit about it was that I managed to overtake two runners within the last 100m, both of whom tried to go with me but couldn't. It's been a very long time since I've had any sort of finishing speed.

Then home, meet E! and another 12 miles with her along the Thames, up to Westminstier, across the bridge and back the other side. Lots of tourists to negotiate which slowed us down nicely in places. Then a final cool down mile on my own. Should have been 3 but I was tired enough and we'd run at a decent pace (10:00) so I called it quits. My schedule is a cobbled together one anyway, loosely based on Furman but not sticking to it religiously, so it's more or less up to me what I do. I'm doing more longer runs this time round so I figure 2 miles won't matter too much. And if they do - well, whatever.

Get well soon Rosehip - so many lurgies out there at the moment :-(

bunting .B. bunting well done on your parkrun PB!

Awesome run PaulaMc :-)

Up early for a haircut but the hairdresser has blow dried it a bit funny. It's looking a bit too "bouffy", hopefully it will calm down when I wash it tomorrow.

Currently under the cat watching the rugby. I should be supporting Scotland really but I'm glad to see the Italians doing well :-)
