I used to live next door to there, daisy (Dollis Hill) - it's got its own parkrun (Gladstone) since we moved oop north.

Evening, everyone. Hope family's on the mend soon, jacs. Just come back from hospital ourselves - my nana had a fall last night and snapped her hip. Horrible at any age, let along for a 5 stone 87-year-old but on the upside, she's absolutely full of morphine at the moment.

Hope everyone's in one piece and not too battered - it's proper stormy up here tonight...

Yes the swim is in the pool, LD. If I do the race I'd be doing the 400m one.

My SiL lives in Pinner which isn't a million miles away from Willesden but there's a road race series 10k on the same day, locally. I'll see how the next couple of months go running-wise, but it could be fun to have a little Fetchie meet poolside - and they do talk about cake on the website :-)

Ta, GM - it's stranger still for my aunt and uncle, who live with her - it's their first evening in the house alone for 18 years, apparently. Looks like she's be in the hospital for 4-6 weeks, at least...

Crikey - is everyone on here a wannabe triathlete suddenly?! :-o

Ta, bint.Well, she's conscious so at least the general anaesthetic didn't finish her off. :)

The only thing I know about Pinner is that Elton John's from there originally...
