It is noticceably milder today than of late, but we've hardly had any really cold weather all winter. I can only think of a handful of days when the car has needed de-icing before going to work, and hopefully it will just keep getting warmer from now on and be in double figures until at least November :-)

good luck with the house RRR-CAZ.

I've been wearing my luminous yellow woolly hat recently, not shorts!!!

8*800m tonight but a bit leggy.

Super excited after I perused the entry list for trafford 10k on 9th March...Helen Clitheroe, Elle Vernon, Louise Damen, Ava Hutchinson and Non Stanford all running. Top ladies running. No shame getting chicked by that lot!!! I won't know whether to run or take pics!!!

Ooooh that's impressive. I'm a big Non Stanford fan, especially.

What do you mean by "a bit leggy"?

(I was wondering that too, Bint).

Ahote - hope your awful February turns into a marvellous March.

RRRCaz - luck with the house purchase. Buying and selling houses is the most awful nightmare.

5 miles with the running club tonight. We went out of town and along a very hilly country lane and it got very dark and I had stupidly not brought my head torch... For the return leg one of the other runners lent me hers, as being slow I'm often running on my own, whereas most of the rest of them are in a little cluster and can share the light from one another's torches. Had to walk part of one of the hills which is both long and steep.

Don't know what all this talk is about shorts and t-shirts; it's only a couple of degrees above freezing here, and will probably go below overnight.
