Oakley is a nice run, except for the last 1/2 mile through a housing estate! But great hoodie at the end. I've still got mine from 4 years ago.

Get-well-soon to Mac

Good news that AL got well soon, - congratulations to Dancing Son.

RRRCaz - moving out later this week - but not yet got anywhere to move into? Or have I misunderstood?

Bint - your comment about Millwall reminded me that in the early days of marriage, accompanying OH to a QPR - Millwall match, I had a can of beer thrown over me by Millwall supporters.

Have run, have blogged.

Sorry props, I don't have time to read all the posts, though I've read some during a scan through the pages. One trying I recall, the discussion earlier about eating on the run. Nowadays because of problematical back etc. I don't anything longer than about 80 minutes. However something I sometimes have after a session which could be good during a long run is called 'Nature Valley' crunchy cereal bars. The type I buy is Oats and Honey. It makes sense to me because oats is a fairly slow-release carb.

Someone at church said that she and her children are going to run in a 1.5K (or 1500m. if you prefer) Fun Run at Milton Keynes in May. I think family members live there. Does anybody know about it?

Morning all :)

Is the fun run part of the marathon day on the 6th May maybe Evangel ? I like those bars, but i find they need a cup of tea with them -

FML - it does usualy fill up uite quikly, but I think there are still places - just checked the list is up to 757 from 1000 available.
I entered early and now have a stupidly low numbern I hate finishing last on a low number!
Get that entry in :)
