Miles run with other people go much more quickly.
Sometimes I run mine with an imaginary friend :-)

I have thawed. And dried. That was good, in a sadomasochistic sort of way. 17.2 miles in three loops, outwards into vicious wind but back along the prom with the wind behind us, then did it all again only this time with what felt like millions of needles smacking the left side of our faces one way, and the right (to even things up) in the other direction.
Several points when it was literally head down and keep going and bits where the waves were threatening to come up onto the prom and sweep us away or the wind threatened to blow us sideways off the prom. Mum did the two larger loops with me, I think she's a hex where weather's concerned.

Bint, 22 and 18 is immense :)

And Columba, doing two laps of the lake after you promised yourself you only had to do one is fab too :)

Nice intervals Fleecy.

I can't do more than one or two miles on treadmills, I think I'd rather go out in locusts.

I ran home with Frank Turner last night. He sang very sweetly to me.

Tomorrow I intend to run with Frank Skinner for a while. He makes me laugh. I don't know about the rest of the miles, I might have to make someone up. 20 on the cards, 3 of them at parkrun.

And no, I can't do it in the better weather on Sunday, because my schedule now works so that Saturday night is eat-what-you-like, go-to-bed-late-if-you-want night, and Sunday is stay-in-bed-watching-subtitled-BBC4-programmes-morning, and then family (or husband) day. So I have to run in the WEATHER tomorrow.

How was your knee, Carp? I'm thinking the Weather took your mind off it?
