That Nigella peanut butter cheesecake recipe has sent me scuttling into the kitchen for a dollop of peanut butter on an oatcake.

Bint, you have certainly got your teen well-trained if he is a cake-maker-supremo; or is it that he doesn't ahem trust his mother's creations?

Columba, we always make custard with soya milk and of course the custard powder - not the ready-made stuff which all have milk or skimmed milk powder in them. Soya Milk has a creamier texture than cow's milk, so it tastes more creamy. We'll give you some when you come to visit us here. We also cook it in the microwave, since soya milk tends to stick to a saucepan if cooked on the hob - as it lacks the fat present in milk.

Jacs, keep on recovering, and stay at home until you're ready for anything!

As a result of yesterday's gale our shed door parted company with the shed, being wrenched off at the hinges; that added to our side gate that acted similarly last week.

Evening gonks, I've not read back as I'm grumpy about not running. :-P

I phoned the doctors today and they've got the xray back but unfortunately as they are absolute legends, they have to wait for a specific doctor to be back tomorrow so he can look at it and call me back. After having a coughing fit down the phone, I asked if they would pass on my concerns that I have had a bad cough for well over a month.

Also, I was informed that I wouldn't be getting paid this week - this was because the umbrella company who sort out my pay made an error. I had to spend half an hour phoning my employers and my umbrella company and had to rant and rave to get it sorted. Pay is now in my bank account.

RRRRAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I hope I don't kill anyone before I get to do a run!!!!
