I can see some blue sky over in the west - not quite enough to make a sailor a pair of trousers, but I think it's growing bigger.

Thanks for the distinction between milk jelly and blancmange, Columba - I now know I've never had milk jelly, and don't think I want to.

my Nana used to say that LD :) never heard it from anyone else!

It's very windy and rather wet here, daughter is on the North Norfolk coast for a geography field trip. They're studying coastal erosion. I'm a bit worried they'll get too much of a demo!

I've not heard it before, i like it :-) One of my Grandma's favourites was "everyone has to eat a sack full of dirt before they die" usually when picking up dropped food off the floor .. I still stand by that, no 5 second rule here - pick it up and eat it, it will be fine.

I am a pudding.

I'm also a bit irritated as I phoned for xray results. Still not available. Have to call back Thursday. Proper getting on my tots.

I have now lost 10 lbs since start of the year. Will make a big difference when I get back running.

Hope everyone is having a good day.
