Evening, everyone - first day off sick in nearly two years today! Caught up about 4 hours extra sleep but I'm still going to try to slope off to bed in a few minutes...

I did Jillian Michaels, Level 2. Bloody Nora. I knew my arms were weak but even with my hand weights at their lightest I struggled with the last set of strength reps. I must try to do this workout far more often. She said 'see you tomorrow' ... maybe, Jillian, maybe ...

Eaten salmon stir fry, with teriyaki and ginger sauce. Feel a bit sick now, although it was nice at the time.

I did Level 1 once, DVD is back on its shelf and it's not coming back out! It was evil on my knees :-O

Can't believe Davina swam in that water, it was 5 degrees! Honestly Sport Relief is going to kill someone one year!

Walked part of the way home and I'm late doing dinner so I'm starving...

Two runs and a small swim
First 6 miler was supposed to be closer to 10mm than the 11 (and the rest) I've been running lately. Fail. The second was a little better but at less than 3 miles it wasn't exactly a storming success.

Feeling rather fed up with my running at the moment. Cambridge half is supposed to be a PB attempt and if I can't get near the pace for 6 miles there's no chance.

I think my knees are about the only bit of me that still feel OK! Killed my shoulders and arms in particular. I need to be careful of my neck doing the crunches, too.

Aren't you marathon training, Carp? Don't be so greedy, try training specifically for a HM PB when you've got your marathon done and dusted :) That way you'll have a nice solid endurance base and you can do some speed training and target a PB later.

Thanks everyone. Today was sad, but OK. And I was thanked many times for my support of the widow which was unexpected and nice. I met some nice people and a neighbour I have never met (lived here 10 years...).

Northern food: I think pie butties were mentioned a while back. Chips and gravy from the Chinese chippy. Eccles cakes? Goosnargh cakes? Have we moved onto sweet yet?

All you have to do is run about 1.92 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
