((((PaulaMc))))) Hope you feel better soon.

LD :-o Your dog antics do make me smile, tinged with a bit of *I'm glad it's not me* relief!

FFS, today's plan to reach 9/10 miles is cancelled as I've caught the kid's tummy bug. Been awake since 3am feeling rough.

I don't think Cambridge is going to happen :'(

Morning all.

When I was young (round about the pre-Cambrian era) my parents used to make their own Brawn. I'll never forget the stench of boiling pigs heads. Bleurgh!

At least 15k required of me today but the sky is as black as me father's hat, rain predicted for lunchtime and it's blowing a gale out there. The wind's supposed to die down this afternoon so I think I'll do a few bits round the house and go out this afternoon. I may even pop into Reading and buy some new running shoes.

Eldest son's 17th birthday tomorrow so if the middle of Reading hasn't completely flooded we might go out for dinner tonight.

Sorry to disappoint but I couldn't summon the necessary energy/enthusiasm to go out. Even the threat of a Sharktopus visit wasn't enough :-(

I'll have to chalk this weekend up to lethargy, I'm afraid, and start again tomorrow.

brilliant Philthet!

i had a lovely slow 8 miles this morning, sun was out for most of it, started drizzling on the last mile.

Got home just in time to see the British girl get bronze in the snowboarding. oh my goodness - the commentators were a mess, they were all greeting and then Matthew Pinsent was hiding the girls parents, she didnt know they were there, and then brought them out at the end of the interview!!! Its bringing a tear to my eye thinking about it again!

Macapple, that's not good :( arms-length get-well hugs for you.

Well done philthet :) and FML :)

No running today here, Teenager 2 played another football match this morning carrying the injuries he got in yesterday's match. He is now just one big bruise, poor little thing.
