That's dreadful, I can't imagine any kid will learn well under that amount of pressure. And for gcses: nobody gives a flying Ferrari how anybody does in gcses once you've done A levels. Pure insanity, I would not only be chucking a wobbly but telling the school no way would my kid be coming in at weekends.

Anyway, I have Combat and Pump later so I will pretend Gove is right in front of me and beat his nasty little face into a pulp on everyone's behalf :)

If you want to do medicine or dentistry they look at your GCSEs. Mainly as everybody who applies gets A* in their A levels. They also won't let you retake, grades first time or no place!

All you have to do is run about 1.92 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
