My wife still has hers from 1971, somewhere. It wasn't pricy - we were both students! We had to spend the day in Swansea today, so I did a nice run along the promenade in the direction of The Mumbles. There was a nice bracing, invigorating westerly wind blowing; (code for a gale - almost). I covered 6.6 miles in all. Certainly the return trip was easier than the outward one.

Never mind Had a mate's 40th tonight so the small dude was dropped off at her mums and off I went. Caught up with a couple of lads I used to play football with....it's 10 years since we won the league so a kickabout/social is being organised for this June. Also caught up with a few people I used to go out with on Friday nights....over 10 years ago. Top . Now home, and all tucked up in bed. Collecting the small dude in the morning and should probably run too.....

Trying to get myself ready for a long run, being put off by weather forcast ! sooner I get out there the better by the look of it - wonder how short a dog walk i can get away with first? All you have to do is run about 1.92 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
