Cstar - how difficult can it be to breathe, - If you're face down in the water most of the time it does take a bit of thinking about.

Evening all! 6 mile run with group in the torrential rain. Was good until the last 1/3, when my clothes were so wet everything was really heavy and difficult to run in.

i might actually brave a wedding dress shop tomorrow. Don't suppose i can put it off much longer. :-\

I tried to breathe underwater once. It's not something I recommend! Still, it made for a good video for the people doing the scuba course and may even be part of a 'how not to' video now :-)

Hi all another quick pop in as I need to get off to set up parkrun v shortly - RD today. About 5 hours sleep arrgghh

And yes, I am a walking/limping compendium of injury - you name it, pretty much, I've had it but I'm still here!

Columba I echo what the otehr swimmers say, every 3rd stroke I turn my head for a breath, though sometimes I might go 5 or 7 (never managed 9 though). The legs just sort of trail along behind me so much so I often forget they are supposed to be doing something :-)
