Morning all 131 posts to catch up !

Good news DD lost (stolen) replacement Xmas present arrived this morning after lots of phone calls to apple & tesco so will have one happy DD after school and probably not see her all weekend now.

Soon to get out for a LSR which would be a quick sprint for ultrabint.
Happy Friday everyone and we finally beat the AUSSIES !!!

Morning, everyone. Sorry I’ve been on much – combination of w**k continuing to be busy and NO RUNNING done so far this week. :-o Meltham 10k on Sunday, though :) (and whilst it’s all on tarmac, the mudophiles will be please to know that it’s scheduled to pour down all morning)…

Have I missed anything exciting over the last couple of days?

What did we beat them at RRR? Surely not cricket? ;-)

As I have swum, run and biked this week I'm getting lunch from Wasabi as a treat for today. Mmmmmmmm, sushi :-)

And in answer to all the lovely holidays people are having on here I'm going to sort out a day trip to Wakefield. Wooo, exciting!

It's not Proper Cricket, but it'll do. ;)

That's almost my manor, Neems - it's a bit (stereotypically) grim but it's got a nice cathedral...

Hello peeps.

Yesterday was a most productive day and I'm exceedingly glad that I started it with a run. Had I not, I doubt I would have squeezed the miles in later and would have been incredibly annoyed.

During the night the post-bootcamp-pressup DOMS kicked in. Oh my word. Showering and dressing this morning was a slow and tiresome business, let me tell you. The fact that I was fetching and carrying stuff up and downstairs a lot yesterday, post run, means that my leggies are a bit sore as well. Good that today is a rest day then :-)

Tomorrow is an 18 miler, starting off with Brockwell parkrun. I'm a bit miffed that I need to keep plodding the parkruns at the moment and can't give it any welly, but I know full well that if I do the rest of the long run will be shot. And it's the most sensible way for me to fit the running in over the weekend, so I'll stick with it. Once Brighton and Kent Roadrunner are out of the way I'll have a bit of breathing space before Amsterdam training, so I'll try to push the 5k time then.

Be nice.

PS - haven't read back to what I've missed since yesterday, sorry. I tried but then work got in the way. Might have time to catch up tonight. xx

*waves at B* Good luck for the rest of your run :-)

I'm going up to see the Barbara Hepworth Gallery, Dooogs. Might have a look at the Cathedral if it's not too far away.

I'm home :-) While i was plodding along I was thinking about the 700ers, RRR-Caz doing a LSR with me :-) It felt fairly hard, especially the last mile, but it is done :-)
My friend was telling me about the hepworth museum, highly recommended it, i'd like to go one day
