*nods approvingly at Bint*
Slow start today as Mr AL had a nice catch-up chat over our morning tea - been such a busy week feel like we've hardly spoken!
Run planned later - got to go to the optician for an eye test in a bit. Hoping I won't need to upgrade all my glasses :(

Morning. Still in bed deciding what to do today. The OH is being indecisive. Hope to get out for a wee bimble later.

Glad sharktopus is keeping you in check Bint!

Morning, everyone. 6 damp, misty miles running to parkrun, followed by 45 sweaty, then increasingly cold minutes marshalling. Course record! (621)

Get well soon, bintle - hope Sharktopus keeps you occupied. :)

Glamorgan everyone.

Bit of a coughing fit afterwards, but a decent parkrun done. 25:38 I think, with the first couple of miles ran with Distracted By Baubles. :-) Gradually increased pace and felt pretty good.

Now for a bit of food, then off to get the small duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude.

Bint, tell me to bugger off if you like but your mileage is massive! Be careful. X

Cheers Som! Your chest infection and lack of training had an upside for me, pleased with a 26.08 and a last km of 5:00. Race director warned us of the several "water jumps" on the course today. Yeh right, if you were Carl Lewis :)

Boo to tweaky calf, take care Bint, being sensible is boring but effective
I went to a wedding last year where they had paper moustaches, beards and glasses on sticks, lots of silly photos, I have a rather fetching one with a moustache :-)
i got a parkrun PB despite the big puddles and 20mph wind, no official time yet, but over half a minute off :-) :-)
